U.S. President Donald Trump today delivered his speech at the World Economic Forum, Davos, reiterating his intension to take over Greenland.
In his speech, Trump argued out why taking Greenland was important both for the U.S. as well as for Europe, describing national security as the top reason.
Trump’s determination to take control of Greenland has placed Europe under tension, and Trump’s Davos speech has increased the dilemma of the European nations. In a long speech, Trump argued out his intension of taking over Greenland, as well as his action on Venezuela.
He termed the United States as the ‘economic engine of the planet’. “When America booms, the entire world booms…You all follow us down and you follow us up,” he said.
“What I am asking of is a piece of ice”, Trump said.
