Venezuela Opposition Leader Says She Will Return as soon as Possible

Venezuelan Opposition leader Maria Corina Machado has said she is ‘planning to return to Venezuela ‘as soon as possible’.

Machado had escaped Venezuela to receive the Nobel Prize for Peace in October.

"We believe that this transition should move forward," Machado was quoted by the media as saying in an interview with Fox News.

The acting President of Venezuela Delcy Roidigueuz, in her latest stand, however has indicated to align her administration with U.S. President Donald Trump.
