U.S.-Israel war with Iran is all set to escalate further after the U.S. carried out an attack on Kharg Island, Iran’s most important oil spot from where the country’s 90 per cent oil is exported.
U.S. President Donald Trump announcing the attack on Kharg Island, said on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the Iran island had been struck, terming it as “one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East.”
While the world that now is already passing through acute energy crisis is set to witness further deepening of the crisis, Iran has threatened to retaliate the U.S. attack on its most important island.
Kharg island is a small rocky island in the Gulf of Persia through which most of Iran’s oil export is carried out. Kharg Island had so far been spared.
