Over 200 million people in the United States have come under the grip of a nasty winter storm that has begun from Friday, and is being described as a ‘mean storm,’ ‘very very dangerous’.

At least 14 states are known to have declared weather emergency, advising people to not venture out unnecessarily as the storm is life-threatening. According to reports, the wind-chill readings at places like Dakota and Minnesota plunged to below minus 50 degree Fahrenheit (minus 45 degree Celsius), and mere exposure to such cold condition without proper clothing could lead to hypothermia instantly.

Weather reports warned that at places like lower-Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley and the mid-Atlantic could witness sub-zero conditions.

Worst condition has been predicted for parts of Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee, where snowfall will build ice upto an inch thick or more.

Path predicted for the storm is cities of including Memphis, Nashville, Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York.
