Ukraine capital Kyiv is living without power after missile Russian strikes on the power grid, according to a social media post by Ukraine president Volodymir Zelenski on Wednesday.
“As of this morning, about 4,000 buildings in Kyiv are still without heat, and nearly 60 percent of the capital is without electricity," Zelenski wrote on X.
According to Zelenski, the shattered power grid forced many Kyiv residents live in cold apartments. The Ukraine capital is undergoing extreme low temperature as a result of which residents are having very miserable time. The absence of power has worsened their situation.
Russia-Ukraine war is in its fourth year and peace has eluded the scene as of now.
