Two Senior Chinese Military Officials put under Investigation

Two senior military officials of China, Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli , are facing investigation for suspected violation of discipline and law.

While Zhang is a member of the elite Politburo of the ruling Communist Party of China, and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, Liu is the chief of staff of the Central Military Commission Joint Staff Department, according to reports quoting Chinese defense ministry statements.
