Russia Foreign Minister says Russia Looks at Taiwan as an Inseparable part of China

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has been quoted by reports on Sunday as noting that Russia considered Taiwan as an inseparable part of China, and that it opposed Taiwan’s independence in any form.

For the last few days, the island country has become the centre of politics between the United States-Taiwan on the on side and China-Russia on the other.

China a few days back had announced sanctions on some U.S. defense firms as well as some individuals after an announcement that spoke of arms sale to Taiwan.
