Putin says Greenland issue not Russia’s Concern

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Greenland’s ownership is not a concern for Russia, and that Greenland and Denmark should sort the matter out between themselves.

Put made his stand vis-à-vis much debated upon matter of Greenland take over by the United States clear at a meeting of Russia’s Security Council, according to reports. Thus, Putin has signalled that Russia would not show any concern if the U.S. wants to take over Greenland though for Russia too, Greenland is strategically important.

After U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his stand on takeover of Greenland in his address at World Economic Forum, there is a lot of chaos on international relations, particularly NATO.
