Chinese President Xi says China and India are Good Neighbours

Chinese President Xi Jinping wished congratulations to Indian President Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of India’s Republic Day celebrations on Monday and said that China and India were “good neighbours, friends and partners”.

According to reports quoting Chinese news agencies, Xi referred China and India as the "dragon and the elephant dancing together".

The two Asian nations are re-setting their relations after the new trade order that has emerged across the globe in recent times. However, the two powers have had border disputes leading to military conflict in the recent past.
