China has an intensive economic involvement in Africa, and has been financing African nations in development sector. Yi is traveling to Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, and Lesotho. He is meeting the leaders of these countries during a trip until January 12.
China is hugely involved in the economic transformation of some important African countries, and is competing with European Union in financing African infrastructure.
African countries are going through fast transformation and nearly every rich nation wants to claim economic share there.
