Starmer, writing on Thursday has said that Iran war must become a turning point for Britain, even as he has promised to make his country’s economy and the military stronger to cope with the volatile world that events like Iran war cause.

Britain and many other European countries have been the worst sufferers of energy crisis caused by the Iran war. The closure of Strait of Hormuz worsened their energy security, even as the soaring oil prices threw the economy to chaos.
